JILL LAMEY ’98 (program director & varsity head coach)

Jill grew up in studio dance starting at age 4 focusing on the basics of ballet, tap and jazz and then moved into the dance team world as a teenager participating on both Seton’s junior high and varsity teams. Upon graduation she immediately transitioned into a coaching position with the youth (formerly mini) team and then up to varsity beginning in 2003 as an assistant coach. She became the program director in the Spring of 2019. For the last 17 years she has worked tirelessly to evolve the varsity team from their drill roots into what they are today which includes 2 national championships in 2018 (pom) and 2020 (hip hop) at the UDA National Dance Team Championships. The 20/21 season marks the start of year 23 coaching for Seton and brings new challenges but she is super excited to continue the legacy of Seton Dance and hopefully advance it to even greater heights. 

EMILY FLOWERS ’19 (varsity coach)

Emily AKA Flo is starting her second season as a Seton coach after being the longest tenured dancer in Seton history. She started dancing for Seton in the 1st grade and continued all the way through her senior year and was a member of the varsity teams first ever national championship. She will be continuing her education at Cincinnati State. She can’t wait to share all her knowledge with our varsity dancers!

JODIE KITCHELL ’08 (varsity coach)

Jodie is in her 8th year coaching at Seton. She started her coaching career on the youth prep team for 5 years, moved to junior high for the last 2 years and now she is excited to take on the varsity team in the 2020/2021 season. She danced for Seton for 8 years and graduated in 2008. She then went to Miami University and graduated with a communications degree and now works as a event/meeting planner. She’s been married to her husband Joe for 5 years and has two beautiful little girls. She is excited for the upcoming season!

ASHLEY WOOD (varsity high coach)

Ashley has been training for the past 21 years in all areas of dance from ballet to hip-hop. She began her training and danced competitively at a studio in her hometown of Bellbrook, OH. She was a 4-year member of University of Kentucky Varsity Dance Team and graduated as captain.  Ashley also danced on the USA Dance Team in 2017. Ashley is a former UDA instructor and has taught studio for the past 10 years. Upon college graduation, she moved to Chicago and dance professionally for the Chicago Bulls. Ashley is currently a USASF (All-Star) Dance Coach at Star Performance Centre. She is excited to be back in her home state while having the amazing opportunity to coach at Seton High School!

STACEY FRANK ’95 (junior high head coach)

Stacey graduated from Seton in 1995, and was the captain of the varsity dance team her senior year. She attended the University of Cincinnati where she was a member of the dance team for a short time, but also choreographed for the junior and varsity teams at Seton in the years following. Stacey was the head coach of our JV team in 2019 that won a National Championship in pom at UDA’s National Dance Team Championships, she is super excited to be joining our junior high team this season!

EMMA DICKMAN ’10 (junior high coach)

Emma graduated from Seton in 2010, and was a member of the dance team for 8 years. She went on to dance for The Ohio State University for two years, competing at UDA Collegiate National Championships in 2011 and 2012. She graduated from OSU in 2015 and returned to Cincinnati in 2017. She is excited to be back for year number 4 and plans on having an amazing season!

ALI SMITH ’11 (junior high coach)

Ali graduated from Seton in 2011, where she was a member of the dance team for 8 years. She then graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2016, and was a member of their dance team for 2 years. This will be her 6th year coaching with Seton (1 year twinkle, 2 years youth, 2 years JV, 1 year varsity). After coaching the 2019 JV Pom National Championship team she is so excited about joining the junior high coaching staff in 2020/2021!

STEPH EDWARDS (youth head coach)

The 2020/2021 season marks Steph’s 17th season as a coach/choreographer, and her 8th with Seton’s dance program! She danced competitively for 6 years and took from various studios beginning at the age of 6. She’s looking forward to working with a new team and taking on the roll of head coach of our youth team!

LISA DOOGAN ’00 (youth coach)

Lisa danced for Seton for four years before graduating in 2000.  The 2020/2021 season will be her 6th year coaching and 1st year with the youth team, having previously worked with the twinkle and youth prep teams.  Lisa is a lifelong westsider and currently lives in Cleves with her husband and 3 children. She is looking forward to another year with the Seton Dance family!

ALLISON MERCURIO ’02 (youth coach)

Allison is excited for the 2019/2020 season and her fifth with Seton Dance. She was a member of both the junior high and varsity teams while at Seton and went on to complete a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in college. She has been married to her husband for 10 years and still resides on the westside with her 3 kids. Allison is very excited to move up a level within the Seton dance program coaching the youth team this season!

CASSIDY GIGLIO ’15 (youth prep head coach)

Cassidy graduated from Seton in 2015 and was a member of our program for 8 years. She is a recent graduate from Xavier University and teaches Kindergarten at Saint William School. At Xavier, she was a member of the dance team for 4 years. Cassidy is entering her 6th year as a Seton dance coach but her first with the youth prep team as head coach. She cannot wait to keep inspiring young girls and working with them to become their best dancer and best self!

ABBY BRUNNER ’20 (youth prep coach)

Abby (AKA Jojo) is from the graduating class of 2020 and has been a part of this program since she was 7 years old. She graduated with two Varsity National Championships; 2018 first Seton title in pom and 2020 first Seton title in hip hop. She is going to a local college to major in Biology and hopefully move onto Medical School. Jo is ecstatic for the opportunity to be able to coach the youth prep girls this season. She hopes to build a foundations for them to be their best as the years go on, inside and outside of Seton Dance. She says it is exciting to see a program she had the opportunity to be a part of grow through the years and it is even more exciting to be a able to contribute to the future growth.

CECE DIGIACOMO ’15 (youth prep & twinkle coach)

Cece is thrilled to be back for her second season as a coach! She started dancing on the first ever Seton twinkle team in 2004 and continued through her senior year for a total of 10 years. She is a graduate from the University of Louisville, where she was a member of the Ladybirds dance team. Cece is currently working as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is excited for the new adventure that the youth prep team will bring and can’t wait to help these dancers grow their love and passion for dance!

SARAH KEISER (twinkle head coach)

Sarah grew up in Delhi and attended Oak Hills High School, graduating in 1999.  She began her dance career during her junior high years at a studio on the west side and quickly fell in love with it, especially hip hop.  She continued dancing throughout her high school years and even formed an adult dance team, BLAZE, in college where they served as the promotional group and dance team of the Cincinnati Cyclones hockey team.  She spent several years teaching at various dance studios, the Blue Ash Rec Center and various fitness clubs before coaching the Loveland High school JV team.  Currently, Sarah lives in Delhi with her husband Jim and their 4 children.

CAROLINE BERNING ’18 (youth prep & twinkle coach)

Caroline is thrilled to be back with the program which has been a second home over the years. She graduated from Seton in 2018 and is currently studying business at the University of Cincinnati. She started with Seton Dance in 2007 on twinkles so she is really happy to be working with the team where her love for dance started. Ultimately, she dance for 10 seasons and was part of the first Seton varsity team to win nationals in 2018! She loves Seton Dance with all her heart and cannot wait to help these young girls grow their talent and love as well!
