- Dancers should stay home if they have been around someone suspected of being positive for COVID-19 until confirmation occurs.
- Dancers should stay home if they have been around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 until the required quarantine period is up. Current CDC quarantine instructions can be viewed here.
- Dancers should stay home if they are awaiting results from a COVID-19 test for themselves or anyone they currently live with.
- Masks MUST be worn at all times when not actively participating in class/instruction. This includes:
- Arrival and Departure from Seton High School
- While going to the bathroom or to water bottle filling stations. We do encourage all dancers to arrive with a full water bottle for class.
- Any time they are in a classroom setting with coaches.
- We will maintain social distance spacing between dancers while in class and being instructed.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with these guidelines so we may keep these girls dancing safely. Should you have an issue arise related to COVID-19 please let our staff know immediately so we can take appropriate measures as necessary.

NOTE: Since 6th graders for the 2021/2022 season are eligible for both Junior High and the Youth/Youth Prep teams they have the choice of which team(s) they would like to participate in the audition/placement process for. If they chose to audition for Junior High and do not make the team as a 6th grader, they will be invited to participate in our Youth/Youth Prep program and will be notified of the team they are being placed on at Junior High auditions. They are not required to audition for Junior High as a 6th grader if they do not wish to. Please review the below open dance class info. and handbook for explanation of the differences between our Junior High team and Youth/Youth Prep program when making the decision on what is best for your dancer.
*NEW for the 2021/2022 season Youth Prep practices will be Tuesdays 6:00-8:30 & Thursdays 4:30-6:30.
– Youth will have the same practice schedule as the 2020/2021 season – Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00-8:30.
OPEN DANCE CLASSES
There will be open dance classes offered for all girls signing-up for the Youth and Youth Prep teams. These classes will be geared towards their age group and will work on dance technique, improving current skills and teaching new skills. If you are interested in auditioning for either our Junior High team or participating on the Youth/Youth Prep teams, it is highly recommended that you attend the open dance classes.
Youth/Youth Prep Dance Teams (4th thru 6th grades 2021/2022 school year)
- Thursdays 6:00-8:00 at Seton in the MPR – Classes start April 8th and run until placements begin.
* April 15th class may need to be cancelled if there is bad weather and Seton spring sports must come inside for
practice. Cancellation, if necessary, will be posted on our Facebook page ASAP that day.
NOTE: Since 6th graders for the 2021/2022 season are eligible for both Junior High and the Youth/Youth Prep teams they are able to attend any of the open dance classes for either of those teams. We encourage any 6th grade dancer, with prior dance experience, to participate in the Junior High classes/tryouts so that they are aware of how that process works for their 7th grade season when they must audition for Junior High. If they do not make the Junior High team as a 6th grader, they will be placed in our Youth/Youth Prep program based on their Junior High tryout. 6th grade dancers are not required to audition for Junior High if they do not wish to. Please review the above tryout info. and handbook for explanation of the differences between our Junior High team and Youth/Youth Prep program when making the decision on what is best for your dancer.
