Program Details:

The Twinkle teams are comprised of the youngest dancers in the Seton Dance program: 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders from both private and public schools in the area.  Starting with 1 team in 2005, we anticipate having 4 teams for the 2023/2024 season. The main goal of the Twinkle program is to introduce young girls to the world of dance team and acquaint them with the Seton Dance program. For all of the Twinkle teams, we focus on basic ballet and jazz technique, along with the core style of pom. We, of course, want the girls to grow into beautiful dancers, but we pride ourselves on having each girl leave class with a smile on her face! Along with a full-length pom or jazz routine that each team performs several times a year, we teach what we like to call “fun dances” and some of today’s most popular line dances including Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Ice Cream and Cake, Cha Cha Slide, etc. As a members of one of our Twinkle teams, girls are introduced to dance, learn tremendous amounts of new material, and are welcomed into the Seton Dance family!

Twinkle Program Details:

  • We have 4 different class times/teams for the 2022/2023 season:
    • Shine Team: Monday’s @ 5:00-6:00 pm (1st & 2nd graders)
    • Glimmer Team: Monday’s @ 6:15-7:45 pm (3rd graders)
      NOTE: All practices for the Glimmer Team will be at St. Al’s Bridgetown this season.
    • Sparkle Team: Tuesday’s @ 5:00-6:00 pm (1st & 2nd graders)
    • Glitter Team: Wednesday’s @ 5:00-6:00 pm (1st & 2nd graders)
  • Classes start in August and end in February. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s class preferences indicated at registration.
  • The cost for the entire season is $300. This fee can be paid in full at the beginning of the season or split into two $150 payments due in August, when classes begin, and then again in October. This cost includes your dancers instruction, performance costume & accessories, 1 pair of tights, pom usage, music, competition entry fees, Christmas/End of Season parties and a Twinkle t-shirt.
  • Each dancer is required to have a pair of tan/nude slip on jazz shoes for all practices, competitions & performances. This cost is not included in the yearly fees and it is each parent’s responsibility to obtain them for your dancer. We will offer a 1 time group order and the cost is approx. $35/pair. You may choose to obtain shoes on your own if you like.
  • Each class will perform 4 times throughout the season:
    • Twinkle Preview (November)
    • Winter Showcase of Dance (December)
    • 2 Local Events/Competitions (dates & locations vary per team)
